About
We got our first computer at home when I was five. It opened up a world I wanted to understand, and that curiosity about technology, and about learning new things, has stayed with me.
Today I work as a consultant on software for client organisations, on the data underneath as well as the applications on top of it.
Education
I studied Applied Information Technology at Thomas More in Geel, from 2022 to 2025. During my studies I was on the programme’s student council, and I was treasurer of SIN, a student association that runs a web hosting platform for students. I also helped maintain that platform.
In my last year I went to Finland on an Erasmus+ exchange, to Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), as part of a double degree programme. There I studied for a bachelor’s in Business Information Technology, specialising in web development and AI. My thesis was about microservices and chaos engineering, and the project behind it is described on the Wallet page.
Alongside my studies I worked at a bpost counter, and for one month as an administrative assistant at City Council of Turnhout.
Outside work
I play chess, and I like small daily puzzles such as Wordle and sudoku. I run a small homelab at home, and I also write code in my free time; most of those projects are open source on GitHub. I have visited eight countries so far. Living in Finland got me into hiking.
